All That You Need to Know about the Latest iPhone Models Launched by Apple

Apple launched its three new iPhone models, the first one being the iPhone 8. Unlike the previous models, Apple decided not to name it iPhone 7s in spite of the minimal changes and a similar design when compared to the iPhone 7.

The iPhone 8 price starts at $699 for the 64GB variant, while the larger, 256GB version is priced at $849.

The new model comes with a new A11 Bionic chip which will help to improve the battery life, hence allowing its users to enjoy using the high-power apps. Just like the older model, iPhone uses IP67 waterproofing.

This is the first iPhone model released by Apple that comes with a glass back, making it unique. The company claims to have used “the most durable glass” in the world of smartphones, though it does not specify what it means. It also uses the wireless charging which makes it all the more a preferred choice. The model is also slightly lighter and has a 4.7-inch display which makes it convenient to hold.

Just like the older model, the 3.5mm headphone jack is missing, which may not seem to be a good idea to many.

The phone comes with a clearer and brighter LCD screen with a retina display. The screen also has a sharper resolution.

It comes with a 12MP camera, and like all other iPhone models, this phone’s camera takes excellent pictures. Even after zooming in, the images remain clear, bright and crisp.

The phone will use the iOS 11 operating system which includes updates to Messages, and also lays focus on apps and stickers. Some features in Siri have also been updated making it better and giving it an edge over other such virtual assistants in the market.

The ones using the iPhone 6s or any older version should probably buy the phone as it has some newly added upgrades and features which are worth spending for. But the ones using the newer models like the iPhone 7 or 7 Plus can still wait.

Though the size is same as the older model, the replacement of the aluminum back with a glass one is a plus point. Another attractive new feature is the wireless charging, and hence it may be a good idea to switch over to the newer model. In the previous models, many users complained about a poor battery life. This thing also seems to have been improved by the addition of a new chipset.

The higher models launched by Apple may seem to be much better than the iPhone 8, but if you are looking for a more affordable phone which is a lot more accessible when it comes to the cost, iPhone 8 is the best option you could go for.

iPhone 8: The lates Fad Among the Smartphone Users Worldwide

Apple launched the iPhone 8 Plus at $799 for 64GB and $949 for 256GB. With some new features

and upgrades to the display, camera and the processor as compared to the iPhone 8, this phone is a steadier and a safer update. Just like the previous model, it comes with a glass back but has a larger screen size.

The company is good at coloring its phones, and the model comes in some beautiful hues of black, silver, and gold which is a nice blend of the rose gold and the original gold.

The phone’s screen comes with the 1080p IPS LCD which can display the wide-P3 color gamut. It also has the True Tone feature that was first launched by Apple on the iPad Pro 9.7-inch. This technology helps to adjust the temperature of the colors on the screen depending upon the environment in which you are using the phone.

The processor used in the iPhone 8 Plus is the same as the iPhone 8 that is the A11 Bionic. The chipset is a six-core processor, two of which are high-powered and the remaining four being low-powered.

Just like its predecessor, the iPhone 8 Plus comes with wireless charging. Another interesting upgrade in this version is on the speakers which now have a heavier bass and a louder volume. Even at high volumes, there is no distortion in the sound. It almost eliminates the need to listen to music by connecting a Bluetooth speaker. Just like the older versions, this phone does not have a standard earphone jack. If you feel that the lack of a headphone jack is not a good idea, it is time to change with the changing times.

The phone comes with an even better camera. The model has dual 12MP cameras, one of which is an optically stabilized f/1.8 wide-angle camera, and the other, a f/2.8 telephoto camera that allows zooming. The pictures have far more vibrant colors and are saturated. There’s a particular kind of never-seen-before pop to images. Apple launched the Portrait mode in the iPhone 7 Plus, but the new model comes with Portrait Lighting that mimics a professionally staged lighting.

If the phone works well in matters of battery life and other upgrades like the camera’s Portrait Lighting mode, buying the phone should definitely be considered.

One of the main differences between the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus is the difference in the screen size and the camera quality. As mentioned earlier, the 8 Plus version comes with a dual camera, while the iPhone 8 has a single camera.

Upgrading to this phone is a good idea, especially for the ones using the iPhone 6s and other lower models.
